GMI is a church devoted to missions under the statement, “Missions are prayer, missions are spiritual battle, and missions are martyrdom.” We believe that missions are the ultimate purpose of the church’s existence.
The founder of GMI and senior pastor, the late Rev. Kwangshin Kim, received a calling from God to pursue missions and to build churches with a mission-centered vision. Since its establishment, the church has consistently devoted more than half of its budget to global missions.
Rev. Kihong Han continues and expands the missionary legacy of Grace Korean Church with a vision to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission. In particular, he is passionately committed to reaching people around the world who have not yet heard the gospel.

GMI 선교는 “선교는 기도,선교는 전쟁, 선교는 순교’라는 표어대로 선교에 헌신하는 교회입니다. 선교는 교회의 궁극적 존재 목적입니다. 초대 담임인 김광신 목사님은 하나님께 선교에 대한 소명을 받아 선교 중심적 교회를 이루어 왔으며, 창립 이래로 예산의 절반 이상을 세계선교를 위하여 지출하였습니다. 한기홍 목사님은 세계선교 마무리의 비전을 가지고 은혜 한인교회의 선교 사역을 계승 발전시켜 가고 있으며, 특히 미전도 종족 선교에 중점을 두고 정진하고 있습니다.
